Chimney Collar 6"

The cast iron chimney collar is designed to suit any standard 6” chimney. Fitting requires 2 – M10 x 50 coach bolts or 1 coach bolt & 1 x brass ring bolt if a chimney chain is to be fitted. The collar should be sealed/bedded to the roof using a heatproof silicone (Plumbaflue) or similar. Depending on the slope of the roof, an adaptor may be required to re-align the chimney vertically.

Chimney Covers

Choice of galvanised steel rain cap or black coated finish with brass ring.  Designed to fit a standard 6” cast iron collar to waterproof the collar after removal of the chimney.

Chimneys - Plain

This is the chimney for those who don't like decoration. They fit on 6" chimney collars.  There is a choice of heights and single or double skinned.

Double means there is an inner tube which diverts water and soot down the flue pipe to be burnt up rather than running down the cabin side. Please note that if the flue pipe is very offset and rises too high in the collar this type of chimney may not fit without modification.

Chimneys - Stainless Steel - With Brass Decoration

The best quality chimney for most narrowboats. For 6" chimney collars.

There are different height options.  The higher the chimney the better the fire works, but the more likely you are to hit bridges and tunnels with it.

These long lasting chimneys are only available in double skin. Double means there is an inner tube which diverts water and soot down the flue pipe to be burnt up rather than running down the cabin side. Please note that if the flue pipe is very offset and rises too high in the collar this type of chimney may not fit without modification.

Chimney Hats - Koolie Hats

Use a chimney hat (sometimes called 'Kooli Hats' or 'Chinaman's Hats' ) during the summer or when you go away and remove the chimney.  They keep the rain out of your chimney, cutting down on corrosion down the flue pipe.

We have two sizes. Both can fit any chimney by adjusting the legs, but the smaller one looks better on a shorter chimney, whilst the bigger one suits a taller chimney.

Supplied flat - assembly required.  Choose colour.

Flue Collar Adapter

5" down to 4 1/2".  This flue pipe adaptor can be used to adapt a wide range of solid fuel stove flue spigots (5") to suit a standard 4 1/2" narrowboat flue pipe.  Please double check your flue pipe size as narrowboats can also have 4" flues.
